Repair Services

We provide our repair services on a time and material basis.  Our service vans are stocked with most common parts and our Boulder warehouse holds a significant inventory of additional parts.  Many of our competitors use a ‘flat rate’ billing method.  The goal of ‘flat rate’ billing is to advertise a low upfront cost for diagnosis and then provide a fixed, but most often very high cost, to fix the problem.  At Save Home Heat, we still employ a more old-fashioned time and material billing rate.  Please read more about our Service Department below.  Equipment Serviced.

Meet our Service Department

Save Home Heat provides repair and maintenance services on residential heating and cooling systems, as well as most light commercial equipment.  With thirty years of service experience, it is rare that we encounter equipment that we are not familiar with.  Our service department manager, Duane Corthell, has over 46 years of industry experience.  We have five full-time service technicians, all EPA certified.  Three of those technicians are NATE certified and the remaining two are currently in NATE preparatory classes (we anticipate their certification in the coming months).  We also have a full-time service department assistant to field and schedule incoming service calls.  One of our technicians is on call at all times.

Our technicians are all professional, personable, competent, and most important of all, honest.  Our service department holds meetings regularly with the objective of efficiency, effectiveness and integrity.  After a visit from one of our technicians, you will be provided a postage paid customer satisfaction card.  We take your feedback on these cards seriously and it has directly resulted in improvement to our services.  We look forward to your feedback and to your joining our satisfied customer base.
