November 2019 marks forty years since Save Home Heat Company incorporated as a local contractor providing a broad range of energy-efficient applications for Boulder and Denver area homeowners. We’ve come a long way since then, and now provide expert heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical services to our many pleased customers.
Our Roots Run Deep and Wide
When we moved into our first headquarters in an old abandoned cleaners in Boulder in 1979, our broad range of services included all manner of insulation and weatherization applications, active and passive solar installation and upgrades, whole-home energy audits and blower-door testing, storm windows and storm doors – and also the first generation of high efficiency residential furnaces and boilers. The basic designs of those ‘new’ heaters laid the groundwork for what is now standard throughout our industry, and our experience installing and servicing high efficiency heaters is unsurpassed in the Colorado Front Range.
